Elaine loves her eventing and has had the pleasure of breeding two wonderful TB x Welsh Cobs from a mare (WhiteRose Rhiannon) she bought back in 1990 to hack the lanes on! Rhia passed her combined training talents on to her first foal, WhiteRose Strandwolf (Wulfie), and looks to have done the same with her latest offspring, WhiteRose Eclipse (Echo).

Elaine and Wulfie competed regularly at International 2-star level and Wulfie continued with Brook Staples (Australian Olympic Rider) at Advanced and 3-star level.

Over the years, Elaine has constantly had to change and accumulate different saddles as her horses developed.  She was therefore over the moon to find the Solution Saddles’ Energist!  Wulfie’s freedom of expression finally began to show itself and stiff, semi-retired Rhia suddenly rode sound and even tried a buck and a kick with joy after half an hour in the Energist!  And what a perfect start Echo had – girthed up and backed as a 2-year old as if she’d done it all her life!

Elaine has since added a GP for jumping and hacking and loves the fact that she can ride any horse in either of her saddles for years to come.  A very worthwhile investment!

Elaine is classically trained and, through her business, WhiteRose Equestrian, promotes ‘gadget-free’, quality riding and horse management, that is enjoyable!   Amongst other things, she specialises in independent bitting advice, having found that many of the issues that riders have with their horses disappear once the horse has correctly fitting, pain-free tack - and that equally includes saddles and bits. 

Elaine is based near Macclesfield and has facilities to hold test rides or bitting consultations there.  Equally, she travels the country conducting bitting clinics and can bring the Solution Saddles to you.
