I have been working with, riding and competing horses for over 20 years. I have a successful record at county level with Natives and Cobs in both Working Hunter and Flat classes. I currently have an Irish TB and have the pleasure of working with other people and their horses regularly – ALL in Solution treeless.

I found Solution Saddles when we had problems with my Working Cob Coalminer aka Bob who had decided to stop jumping! It’s a long story but I’ve been treeless ever since and we’ve never looked back.

My most recent success story is a ‘broken’ event prospect by the name of Thomas, un-saddle-able in January last year and still only walking in July 2009. We are now winning at affiliated dressage and have started to jump. Thomas had dreadful back problems, not the least of which was a trapped nerve in his sacroiliac joint. I know that without the Solution he would not be being ridden to date.

Since using Solution saddles I have been able to help a lot of people with various equine issues. Friends and contacts have often seen and commented on the outstanding differences in my horses and their way of going since our awakening! This has often resulted in enquiries and subsequently, happier horses putting their stilettos in the wardrobe and proudly stepping out in their slippers!

Since my first ‘Freestyle’ I can honestly say I have had no saddle related problems, have only needed new ones to spoil myself or for different disciplines and no longer need to seek regular help from ‘the back lady!’  My horse’s backs/general musculature and those of friends and acquaintances using these saddles look wonderful – in some cases showing truly miraculous improvements and so I am earnestly pursuing a treeless revolution in the Peak District and beyond!
