Robyn comes from a family background steeped in equestrianism. She grew up in Ireland, where the family home was a base for producing show jumpers and point-to-pointers. Her aunt is the world ranked international show jumper Jessica Kurten and Robyn has trained with her in Germany.

Further training at centres in England gave her the experience and education to gain the BHSII which in turn led to a position as senior instructor at the renowned Wellington Riding Centre.

Her interest in the training and rehabilitation of horses has been enhanced by practising Bowen Therapy and Robyn now runs her own yard producing and retraining horses.
