In addition to our popular original patented treeless saddle designs, Solution Saddles have researched and developed the most technologically advanced saddle model available. Computer aided designs and revolutionary process of 3D scanned surface modelling give precision and symmetry to the classic, traditional style saddles.

The SMART™ saddle has evolved through years of research in the quest to develop the perfect saddle to improve equine welfare and performance. The designs and materials used are thoroughly researched and tested and we have taken advice from industry professionals to ensure the best product outcome, from both the materials used and the effects of the saddle on the horse.

The SMART™ saddle design provides increased rider support without adding bulk. This puts The SMART™ in the top bracket of any competition saddle range - with the added advantage of being far more versatile when it comes to fitting.

Unique, patented design features:

- Tooled weight bearing panels – State of the art prototyping technologies, using computer numerical controlled machines, provide even weight distribution and rider support where it is needed most.

- High density, floating fins are integrated to support and distribute the weight and movement of the rider.

- The W girth system with variable tension allows the saddle to flex with the horse’s back and limb action, giving complete freedom of movement. The W system accommodates even the most difficult conformation comfortably, improves girth position for awkward conformation and saddle stability for all back shapes.

- The precision moulded, shock absorbing seat provides unparalleled rider comfort, depth and feel. Improved seat and hip support gives effective leg contact, refined balance and overall classical posture.

- Leather. All SMART™ saddles are made using superior quality ‘Memmel’ print leather.
This pre-oiled, malleable leather is very high quality. It is durable, weather resistant and needs no ‘breaking in’. The matt, non-slip finish ensures the rider is instantly comfortable and assists them to feel more secure in the saddle.
The leather can be treated as normal and cleaned using Bee Natural saddle cleaner.

Fitting advice
We recommend having a home consultation visit to ensure correct saddle, size and fit for both horse and rider. When you try a Solution saddle you will receive advice on correct sizing, demonstrations on how to fit, monitor and balance the saddle to any horse and rider and valuable support and advice whenever you need it.

Like any saddle system, The Solution fit needs to be kept under review as the horse’s back changes shape. However, unlike any other saddle, The Solution is easy to regularly fit and adjust at home. Once the simple techniques are mastered, it becomes as easy as everyday tacking up.
