Solution Saddles offer a Home Consultation Service to enable you to test ride a range of suitable SMART™ saddle model(s), correctly fitted and balanced for horse and rider under the guidance of an Approved Advisor. Strongly recommended, wherever possible, a Test Ride is the ideal setting to determine the correct saddle model, size and appropriate accessories for the achievement of optimum saddle performance – this hands-on expert advice allows you to focus on the new saddle and how the horse responds in the comfort of familiar surroundings.
Please ensure you have set aside plenty of time and any regular riders of each horse are there – and ready to ride - for the duration of the consultation.
All SMART™ saddles and accessories are distributed from our head office and workshop in Derbyshire, England; Approved Advisors do not hold their own stock for test rides. This system ensures we can provide you with a custom selection of saddles to test ride, wherever you are in the country. Wherever possible, we recommend keeping the same saddle that you have tried at your test ride and throughout your rental period, however certain customisations are available and can be discussed following your test ride*.

SMART Saddle Test Ride: A fee of £75.00 is payable directly to the Approved Advisor at the time of your initial test ride. This covers standard time and travel costs as well as on-going remote fitting advice. When you purchase your SMART saddle following an approved test ride, Solution Saddles will deduct the Home Consultation fee paid to the Advisor, up to £75.00, against the balance due on your SMART™ saddle.
Review Visit: Regular fitting reviews are strongly recommended and are normally charged at £75.00.
The standard fee for a fitting consultation by an Approved Advisor for SMART or Solution saddles purchased via a third party is £100.00.

Solution Saddles offer a unique trial service, enabling you to put your SMART Saddle through its paces over an extended period of time before committing to purchase. Expert advice is on-hand throughout, from both your Approved Advisor and Solution Saddles HQ, to assist and guide you.
The rental agreement requires a security deposit of £500, following which, the rental rate will be charged at £75.00 per week (or part thereof). A maximum of 2 weeks rental is free if you proceed to purchase a SMART saddle. Should you wish to extend your trial, there is no limit to how long you may keep the saddle, but you will be required to renew the rental agreement after the first month, and thereafter, pay monthly rental in advance.
Should you return the saddle, the accrued rental charges which will be deducted from your deposit payment prior to the refund. If you decide to purchase a SMART saddle from us within the first two weeks of your rental period, this service will be free of charge and the deposit will be transferred towards the balance of your purchase.
All rental equipment is available for you to buy; you can choose to keep the demo items from your trial or you may order new items that are customised to your own personal preferences.
Customers will be required to read, sign and return a rental agreement, as well as pay the £500 security deposit, before rental can commence. The rental equipment should be used with care and customers must be prepared to return all goods in the condition they are received.
The following options are available to you when paying the balance due for any SMART saddle order within the UK. You can choose to pay for your saddle package in full or on one of our easy payment plan options to help spread the cost. Saddles are also available to order for rental (T&C apply). Orders for accessories only must be paid in full at the time of order.

SMART™ saddles are available to purchase worldwide. If you are based in an area where we do not have a trained SMART saddles Approved Advisor, you can purchase a SMART™ saddle on a sale or return/rental basis.
We can advise you on the best saddle model and size to choose by phone or email and discuss fitting guidelines with you before sending you a saddle. We will require the rider height and weight (for an idea of best size) and details about your horse, including size, type, condition, current & future work. This will give us an indication of the best model of saddle to recommend to you. Any photographs of you and your horse are also useful when advising on saddle and fit, please see link to guide.

We can give you an expected delivery time and shipping quote when you place the order.
Please send details of your delivery address and we can quote for shipping, alternatively you can arrange your own courier service. Shipping charges are not refundable.
International payment options
We can accept payment by credit card or bank transfer. When making a bank transfer, please indicate that you will pay for the associated charges. Any unpaid charges will be billed for and as a result, you will incur further bank charges.
Unfortunately we are not able to offer our payment plan option to sales outside the UK.
We require a £500 deposit when you place the order and the full balance before shipping. Orders cancelled before shipping will be subject to a charge of 25% of the deposit.
For sales outside the UK, if you return the equipment, all deductions including shipping costs will be made before the balance is refunded. Rental will be charged from the date that the saddle is shipped to the date that it is received back to our premises.
The rental fee will be charged for every week or part thereof that the equipment is assigned to you. You are responsible for the safe return of all equipment.
