Product descriptions and pricing
Whilst it is our intention to keep our website up to date and error free, product description or pricing errors may occur. If we discover such an error after you have submitted an order to us, we will contact you prior to accepting your order with the correct details. You may then either cancel your order or confirm it based on the correct information. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat your order as cancelled. Prices are payable in £ sterling and are liable to change at any time. All prices shown on the website are inclusive of VAT.
Important Fitting Advice
Before purchasing a SMART saddle, we strongly recommend that you have a Home Consultation Visit with a Solution Saddles Approved Advisor where possible to ensure the correct selection of saddle model, size and appropriate accessories for the achievement of z\optimum performance. The SMART saddle system, whilst being a different concept, is easy for even the novice rider or horse owner to understand and utilise without the need for continued specialist help. However, in the same way that you would schedule routine checks from a saddler for a traditional saddle, we recommend that you have regular reviews. There is always help and advice on hand. Call us for free, friendly advice on 07738 711 099. Your Approved Advisor will be familiar with you and your horse and having conducted an assessment and fitting are in the best position to provide you with any ongoing support. We recommend that when a horse is first introduced to a SMART saddle, you take things slowly, particularly with a horse that has had a fundamental or dramatic change in the way of going. The horse may be using their muscles in a different way and will require conditioning with short repetitions, building up gradually, to avoid fatigue or strain.
A standard fee of £50 is charged by Approved Advisors for the home consultation service, this is refunded by Solution Saddles when you purchase your saddle from us. Approved Advisors may charge an additional non-refundable travel expense. Please check directly with them at the time of booking.
Solution Saddles offer a rental service to allow you to try your chosen saddle model over an extended trial period. Expert help is available by phone or email to assist and guide you during your trial or you can arrange a fitting review visit if required. All rental equipment is available for purchase and you may buy the items that you have been testing, or you may decide to order new items customised to your own personal preferences.
The rental agreement requires a security deposit of £500. The rental rate is £50 per week or part thereof.
If you decide to proceed with your saddle purchase from Solution Saddles, you will receive the first 2 weeks of your rental free of charge; this will be deducted from the balance due. You will be required to renew the rental agreement after the first month, and thereafter, pay monthly rental in advance.
All new and ex-demo stock carries a full twelve-month warranty. Ex-demo stock may be discounted due to minor cosmetic defects, which are reflected in the price.
Clearance stock carries a maximum of three months warranty.
The warranty is non-transferable and only applies to the person named on the sales invoice.
It is the responsibility of the buyer to satisfy themselves of the condition, price and warranty terms of their purchase.

It is the user’s responsibility to ensure all items are suitable and appropriate for their horse and their activity. No insurance, warranty or guarantee is included in the sale or rental terms. Riding can be a dangerous activity and neither TSS Ltd nor any of its employees or agents accepts any liability should any of its products be involved in any accidents or any cases of either horse or rider or any third party being damaged or injured.
UK Orders and delivery
Please take care when providing your delivery address details. We cannot be responsible for orders which are lost or cannot be delivered due to incorrect details. We do not accept any responsibility for lost or missing parcels, so please ensure you arrange for the parcel to be left in a secure place or state an alternative delivery address, or request the delivery company leave it with a neighbour if you are not in. Upon receiving your order, please check the items are correct and contact us as soon as possible to inform us of any discrepancies.
Solution Saddles will not be liable or responsible for any failure to complete your order, or delay in any of our obligations under a Contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control. Our performance under any contract between us is deemed to be suspended for the period that the event continues.
All orders will be sent by a tracked 24 hour delivery service.
Whilst we aim to ship accessory items immediately after the order has been processed and payment confirmed, in the exception where the item is not in stock, please allow up to 28 days for delivery of accessories and up to 6 weeks for saddles. You will be advised if there is a delay in dispatching your order.

Please note: An increase in demand for made to order SMART saddles has resulted in extended lead times on all new saddle orders going through our workshop. Whilst we endeavour to get your new saddle to you as soon as possible, we are currently estimating at least 6 weeks lead time for all new saddle orders. We can give you a more accurate quote with regard to timescales at the time of order.
The following options are available to pay the total balance due for any order within the UK which includes a saddle. Orders for accessories only must be paid in full at the time of order. You can choose to pay for your saddle package in full or on one of our easy payment plan options to help spread the cost, saddles are also available to order for rental (T&C apply).

Online payments are made securely through Stripe. We can accept most credit or debit cards and Paypal. Solution Saddles do not hold your payment details.

Buying a SMART saddle from outside the UK
SMART™ saddles are available to purchase worldwide. If you are based in an area where Solution Saddles do not have an Approved Advisor, you can purchase a SMART™ saddle on a sale or return/rental basis. We can advise you on the best saddle model and size by phone or email and discuss fitting guidelines with you before sending you a saddle. We will need the rider height and weight (for an idea of best size) and details about your horse, including size/ type/ condition/ current & future work. This will give us an idea of the best model of saddle to recommend to you. Any photographs of you and your horse are also useful when advising on saddle and fit. If you would like to arrange to try a saddle, please call us or send the above details to email@example.com and we can discuss which saddle option would be best for you.
We can give you an expected delivery time and shipping quote when you place the order. Please send details of your delivery address and we can quote for shipping, alternatively you can arrange your own courier service. Shipping charges are not refundable.
International payment options
We can accept payment by credit card or bank transfer. When making a bank transfer, please indicate that you will pay for the associated charges. Any unpaid charges will be billed for and as a result, you will incur further bank charges. Unfortunately we are not able to offer our payment plan option to sales outside the UK. We require a £500 deposit when you place the order and the full balance before shipping. Orders cancelled before shipping will be subject to a charge of 25% of the deposit
If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase please contact Solution Saddles as soon as possible.
The buyer shall be deemed to have accepted the goods if they have not been returned on or before the 14th day after delivery. The buyer shall not be entitled to return the goods in whole or in part after such date. Except under warranty terms, no returns may be made without previous written consent of the seller and such goods must be returned in their original, unused condition and suitably packaged at the buyer's risk and expense.
Purchased saddles that have been used and therefore show normal wear and tear may, at our discretion, be returned under our standard rental terms. Any cancellations must be in writing and sent to Solution Saddles, The Old Barns, Firbeck House, Steetley, Worksop, Derbyshire S80 3DZ, with proof of purchase. Returning Rental saddles
The safe return of all equipment is the buyers responsibility and should be arranged via a guaranteed delivery service for your own security. All equipment should be returned in the same condition in which it arrived at your premises. When returning the rental equipment please ensure that it is clean, in good condition and suitably packaged to avoid damage in transit. We can arrange collection for you at our standard rate, or alternatively, it can be sent via Post Office Special Delivery, (which is a next day, signature required, insured service with a tracking number). All saddles and equipment must be returned directly to Solution Saddles The Old Barns, Firbeck House, Steetley, Worksop, Derbyshire S80 3DZ. Any loss or damage is the responsibility of the user and repairs or refurbishment will be charged for. All refurbishment work will be charged at our current rates (minimum £30 / hr. plus materials). A £30 cleaning charge will be made unless all items are returned dry, clean, and free of any hair or dirt.
When you return the rental equipment, Solution Saddles will refund the balance owed to you from the deposit paid. Refunds will only be made after a full quality control inspection. The test ride fee paid to your Approved Advisor is not refundable. NB - Please allow up to 14 days for your returned goods and refund to be processed.
For sales outside the UK, if you return the equipment, all deductions including shipping costs will be made before the balance is refunded. Rental will be charged from the date that the saddle is shipped to the date that it is received back to our premises. The rental fee will be charged for every week or part thereof that the equipment is assigned to you. You are responsible for the safe return of all equipment. Refunds will only be made after a full quality control inspection.
